Who we are

A community restaurant, run by the people who cook in it

Michael Haskett came back to Sioux Falls with one idea for a restaurant: real food made by real people. He found a room on Phillips Avenue, talked a couple of friends into it, and opened in January 2012 with a tabletop convection oven and a pair of electric fryers he used for boiling water. In 2014 the whole space was rebuilt, and with an actual kitchen behind it the team got on with what they had set out to do. More about M.B. Haskett.

A dish is only as good as the sum of its parts.

Thursday to Saturday only

Dinner is a different restaurant in the same room

Three nights a week the kitchen switches over and the menu goes somewhere else entirely. Mussels in white wine and garlic. Chicken piccata. A house-cut beef tenderloin. Kabayaki walleye, done Japanese barbeque style.

It is worth planning around, and if you are bringing a group it is worth a phone call first.
